Highlights

Indonesia is about more than just beautiful beaches. Head off the beaten track to create memories that will last a lifetime.

Discover Bali's culinary heritage

A multitude of islands, each home to an eclectic mix of cultures, make up Indonesia and each serve a diverse range of cuisine. Try Bali's own sate lilit, made from minced beef, fish, chicken or pork mixed with coconut and a rich blend of vegetables and spices, wrapped around bamboo skewers then grilled or feast on a delicious local curry served on a banana leaf. Head to the coast for some mouth watering seafood, served fresh from the morning's catch. Discover Bali's culinary heritage and learn how to cook local dishes with a cooking class - an unforgettable experience and a lasting souvenir.

A spiritualist's haven

A spiritualist's haven

Embark on a spiritual journey through Bali's historic monuments. Tanah Lot is perched on top of a huge rock, surrounded by the sea, with waves constantly crashing onto its base, while Uluwatu Temple boasts a magnificent location, perched on a cliff edge in the southwestern Bukit Peninsula. Near Ubud, Goa Gajah 'elephant cave' was built as a spiritual place for meditation and is home to ancient rock carvings, a meditational cave, bathing pools, fountains and more.

Soothing spa experiences

No visit to Bali is complete without indulging in a spa experience. Choose from a decadent menu of treatment options, available in most resorts, and be pampered in a serene oasis. Relax the mind, body and spirit with a sunrise yoga session on a tranquil beach.

Useful Information

When To Visit

The best weather in Bali is found in May, June and September, when it's relatively dry and not so humid. The wet season falls between October and April and although there's still plenty to do and rains rarely last all day, some activities, such as volcano trekking, can be affected by the weather. There's little rain in July and August, however this busy high season results in higher prices and crowded attractions.
