Choose from a Guest Home (ideal for groups), a romantic Cabin Suite or one of the charming Hotel Rooms. Rooms are tastefully decorated in typical western-style with some even including huge log fireplaces for those clear winter evenings.

The superb Herron Bend Guest Home includes some extravagant touches like a games room, patio with an outdoor fireplace and a theatre room. Cabin Suites are situated close to the pool and guests in the hotel can relax in deep leather chairs in the lobby.

A visit to Texas wouldn’t be complete without some genuine Texan cuisine. Dinner Bell is the ranch’s steakhouse serving a wide variety of local favourites and specialities that include hand-cut, mesquite grilled steaks, chicken fried steak and jumbo shrimp.

Activities in this North Texan Hill Country start with horseback riding but certainly don’t end there. There are 25 miles of trails to explore on horseback and guests can choose to join a group ride or enjoy a private riding experience with a real Texan cowboy.

There’s a sport clay shooting range and opportunities to try archery or discover more about the fascinating history of this area with a historic Jeep tour.

Relax with a refreshing drink in the deep blue of the gorgeous infinity pool or arrange to have a therapeutic massage to relieve any aches and pains after a day in the saddle.
