Enjoy even more space and beach views in a Grand Suite, including a large walk-in closet, whirlpool tub, dining area for six and a furnished balcony.

Choose from any of the resort's 20 restaurants and 19 bars and lounges, from gourmet Japanese cuisine at Nobu to a quick bite and nightly entertainment at Plato's. Try one of the popular salads at McKenzie's Conch Shak or explore a mouth-watering world of flavours, from Mediterranean to Caribbean and from barbecue to pizza.

Head to Aquaventure for days of daring water slides, river rides and expansive swimming pools. Special helmets let you walk with sharks at the Mayan Temple. Sail the seas around Paradise Island to encounter coral reefs and ancient shipwrecks on a snorkelling adventure. On land, there are tennis courts and the Tom Weiskopf-designed Ocean Club golf course to play.

Balinese healing remedies and European therapies blend together with natural Bahamian elements to create the soothing sanctuary of the Mandara Spa. Immerse yourself in the warm and cold plunge pools after a spell in the sauna or steam room. Feel energised after a yoga or cardio class in the fitness centre.

Sea Squirts is a programme for three- to six-year-olds which introduces youngsters to marine life and lets them hand-feed baby sharks and stingrays. The Splashers pool at Aquaventure's play fort is a dedicated play area for younger children. Garner's Reef has all the latest video and arcade games for indoor fun, while guests aged 13 to 17 dance the evening away at Crush Teen Nightclub.
