Day 1 - 2
Arrive in Calgary today and travel along the Trans-Canada Highway to Banff. Check in to the Rimrock Resort Hotel, located in the mountains and in a national park. While the natural beauty of Banff Gondola and Tunnel Mountain can be enjoyed, those looking for an activity can check out Upper Hot Springs. Unwind in the hotel's on-site restaurant or try their hot tub and indoor pool.
Day 3 - 4
Today guests will travel from Banff to Jasper. Your sightseeing tour will encompass the ultimate glacier exploration as you travel along the spectacular Icefields Parkway. From walking on ancient ice at the Glacier Adventure to standing on a glass platform almost one thousand feet in the air at the Glacier Skywalk, today's experiences will leave you with a special appreciation for this treasured region. Check in to the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, where you will stay for two nights.
Day 5
Enjoy luxurious service during your 3-day journey aboard the Rocky Mountaineer between Vancouver and Jasper on a Gold Leaf basis. Pass through the Rocky Mountain Trench, with the steep Rocky and Cariboo Mountains on either side. Highlights include Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies, Yellowhead Pass and Moose Lake. Your day concludes as the Rocky Mountaineer passes through the town of Prince George. Overnight in Quesnel.
Day 6
Your journey continues south today to the four-season resort of Whistler. Enjoy breathtaking and varied scenery, from the desert-like conditions of the Fraser Canyon to the rolling hills and vast ranchlands of the Cariboo Plateau. Highlights include sweeping views of the Fraser Canyon, the crossing of Deep Creek Bridge, one of the highest railway bridges in the world, and the shorelines of glacial-fed Seton Lake and Anderson Lake. Overnight in Whistler.
Day 7 - 8
The morning is free to explore Whistler Village at your leisure. This afternoon, return to Vancouver onboard the Rocky Mountaineer through the stunning scenery of the Sea to Sky Corridor. Highlights of the trip include the Cheakamus Canyon, the dome peak of Mount Garibaldi, Brandywine Falls, and breathtaking views of Howe Sound and the Coast Mountains. Disembark the Rocky Mountaineer and transfer to your accommodation. Day 9
Depart your hotel and make your way to the port, where you will board Celebrity Edge and begin your 6 night full board cruise.
Day 10
The next day is a day at sea onboard Celebrity Cruises' Celebrity Edge. While at sea, take some time to recharge before your next port of call. Lounge by the pool, visit the spa, treat your tastebuds at one of the many onboard restaurants or enjoy some entertainment.
Day 11
The next stop is Juneau, Alaska. Here's your chance to take a glacial dogsled adventure in Alaska's capital, where cultured sophistication meets the ruggedness of the Last Frontier.
Day 12
Dock at Skagway, Alaska. Head to the Klondike Gold Rush National Park Museum for an in-depth look at Klondike and the two routes out of Skagway – Chilkoot Pass and White Pass. From the vintage train, admire the mountains and see the 1898 trail that fortune seekers travelled on foot. The White Pass & Yukon Route Railroad runs vintage locomotives through the famously steep Chilkoot Trail and offers sweeping mountain views during its climb towards Canada.
Day 13
Today will be spent cruising Endicott Arm. You can’t help but be amazed by the untouched beauty of the surrounding granite mountains, verdant valleys and numerous waterfalls. Drifting icebergs, deep blue waters and a spectacular tidewater glacier only add to this natural spectacle’s appeal. Keep your eyes open for creatures splashing in icy waters near the ship or floating with their pups on giant chunks of ice. Along the shore you might also glimpse brown bears, bald eagles, sea ducks, deer, moose and wolves. Your journey through the scenic Endicott Arm Fjord ends with a front-row view of the striking Dawes Glacier.
Day 14
The next day is a day at sea onboard Celebrity Cruises' Celebrity Edge. While at sea, take some time to recharge before your next port of call. Lounge by the pool, visit the spa, treat your tastebuds at one of the many onboard restaurants or enjoy some entertainment.
Day 15 - 16
Arrive in Seattle, disembark the ship and transfer to the Fairmont Olympic Park, where you will stay for two nights. Seattle's iconic hotel features rich character and history, breathtaking architecture, an innovative culinary experience and best-in-class service.
Day 17
Check out hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight home.
