Day 1 - 3
Arrive in Portugal and check in to luxurious The Ivens, Autograph Collection for your first two nights which is ideally located in the centre of Lisbon. Surrounded by the best shops, restaurants, bars, galleries and bookshops in this cosmopolitan neighbourhood, The Ivens is the perfect base to explore this stunning city. You will then Head to the port and get ready to set sail on the stunning Oceania Sirena. From 1:00 PM, step into your luxurious world at sea, as you explore your spacious suite and amenities onboard.
Day 4
Spend a blissful day at sea getting to know Oceania Sirena as you sail to your first port. Indulge in Toscana’s authentic Italian dishes or a steak from Polo Grill, relax by the pool, or unwind with a treatment at the Aquamar Spa.
Day 5
Funchal is the capital and largest city on the island of Madeira, off the coast of Portugal. Take a cable car up to Monte for spectacular views of the botanical gardens and the charming town. Drive along the coast to a village where Winston Churchill painted seascapes or out to the stunning cliffs of Cabo Girão and enjoy a visit to a quaint fishing village.
Day 6
Also known as ‘La Isla Bonita’ (the beautiful island), La Palma is typified by lush forests of pine, laurel and fern which contrast with the rugged splendour of the gigantic Taburiente crater. The island is dotted with attractive villages, which are a delight to discover, and the capital Santa Cruz also makes for an interesting day of exploration.
Day 7
The largest of the Canary Islands, Tenerife is a beautiful and scenic island which enjoys year-round sunshine and is dominated by Mount Teide. Santa Cruz, the island’s pretty capital, was originally a small fishing village but has now grown into a modern city, and also contains 16th-century civic buildings and ornate private mansions. For a respite from the urban environment, visit the Palmetum, a botanical garden with more than 400 species of palms.
Day 8-9
Spend your days at sea with new found friends as you sip fine vintages at a wine tasting and enjoy a wonderful spectrum of enriching activities that await onboard. Relax by the pool and enjoy the upper deck or improve your golf game on the putting green.
Day 10
Enjoy charming São Vicente and the amazing landscape here and on nearby Santo Antão. Stroll through town past vibrant markets and the replica of Lisbon’s Belem Tower. Visit the stark but lovely lunar-like beach at Catfish Bay. On Santo Antão see lush and rugged landscapes and picturesque villages.
Day 11
Enrich your mind, body and soul as the satisfying balance of enriching activities and peaceful havens in which to relax means you always feel right at home. Enjoy an engaging talk by a Guest Speaker that may be a historian, naturalist or former ambassador eager to share insider knowledge, or curl up with a classic novel or travelogue in the cozy library
Day 12
Situated on the tip of the Cape Verde Peninsula in western Senegal, Dakar is a surprisingly lively and bustling capital boasting luxurious hotels, beaches and watersports, as well as casinos and a wide range of restaurants. After three centuries of French rule, Dakar can't help but exude a certain French flair, especially architecturally. Senegalese attire tends to be rather formal and conservative, but the city is full of life. Art galleries are plentiful, the beaches inviting, and the views fantastic from the Les Mamelles Lighthouse.
Day 13
Although the capital of Gambia, Banjul remains one of Africa's smallest cities. Nestled on St. Mary's Island at the mouth of the Gambia River, it exudes a village-like atmosphere. Spend a carefree day admiring the 19th century architecture in MacCarthy Square or visiting the landmark King Fahad Mosque with its twin minarets.
Day 14-15
Each day at sea is a spectacle and adventure to experience, from world-class music, high-energy production shows and dazzling cabarets to rousing deck games, spirited wine tastings and evenings at the atmospheric casino.
Day 16
The Ivory Coast's largest city and former capital, skyscraper-studded Abidjan curves around placid Ebrié Lagoon. Being one of the world's largest French-speaking cities, it's often referred to as the "Paris of Africa." Abidjan's more affluent Le Plateau and Cocody neighborhoods exude a palpable European ambiance.
Day 17
The twin city of Sekondi-Takoradi was Ghana's first deepwater seaport and has prospered greatly. Still, the ambiance is rather laid-back, especially in the inviting beach areas. With its rich history, stunning landscapes, and warm hospitality, Takoradi offers visitors a unique and unforgettable experience. Explore Monkey Hill, a tropical reserve for primates, lies in heart of city and nearby Fort Orange was built by the Dutch in the 17th century and now serves as a lighthouse.
Day 18
Wedged between a lagoon and the Atlantic Ocean, Togo's convivial, beach-rich capital of Lomé has emerged from its colonial past as pure African. With its fascinating blend of traditions, cultures, and natural beauty, Lome has become a popular choice for tourists seeking a unique and authentic experience in Africa. For a glimpse of its history and unique Togolese art, visit the National Museum and the spired Lomé Cathedral is also noteworthy.
Day 19
Enjoy afternoon tea at sea as each afternoon, the parade of gleaming four-tiered pastry carts begins. Savor freshly made, flavourful smoked salmon and egg salad finger sandwiches. Enjoy mirror-glazed petits fours, tender scones with rich clotted cream and, of course, a wide assortment of fine teas.
Day 20
Off the beaten path, São Tomé and Principe, a dual-island nation in the Gulf of Guinea off the western equatorial coast of Central Africa, is a hidden tropical paradise that offers lush rainforests, birdwatching, secluded waterfalls and pristine, isolated beaches. Enjoy spectacular views on a hike to the peak of Pico de São Tomé, go in search of the 109 species of orchid that decorate the landscape, or marvel at the impressive Boca do Inferno blowhole.
Day 21-23

Day 24
Although rimmed by the inhospitable Namib Desert, Walvis Bay boasts a huge natural lagoon that attracts hundreds of thousands of birds, including flamingos, pelicans and migratory species. The desert's Dune 7 is the highest sand dune near town and offers a spectacular view. Walvis Bay is the perfect base from which to explore the surrounding desert regions, including the beautiful Sandwich Bay and Cape fur seal colony at Cape Cross, and the nearby seaside resort of Swakopmund.
Day 25
Indulge in Toscana’s authentic Italian dishes or a steak from Polo Grill, relax by the pool, or unwind with a treatment at the Aquamar Spa.
Day 26
It’s difficult to get lost in Cape Town because gorgeous Table Mountain looms above the city as a reference. For breathtaking views, ride the cable car to the top, or explore this urbane city on foot. Visit the fascinating South African Museum and Planetarium and the culturally significant St. George’s Cathedral.
Day 27-30
You will disembark the ship at 8am, to go to your hotel in Cape Town where you will stay for your final three nights at Mount Nelson, A Belmond Hotel Cape Town. Nestled between the slopes of Table Mountain and the vibrant city, you will be welcomed into a world of relaxation and glamour. Relax on the terrace and stroll through storied gardens, or sunbathe bathe beneath clear skies with a cocktail in hand before returning to the UK after an incredible voyage.
