Your Itinerary

Day 1 – 3

Your journey will begin in Barcelona with a two night pre cruise stay at the Grand Central Hotel. This luxurious 5 star boutique hotel is located in the heart of the Gothic quarter, providing a quiet and peaceful retreat for guests in the middle of bustling Barcelona. Visit the magnificent basilica Sagrada Família, wander the city’s most famous street La Rambla, marvel at the incredible views from Gaudí’s Park Güell, or relax at Barcelona’s beautiful beaches. On day 3 you will transfer to the port to begin your luxury cruise onboard the Silver Nova.

Day 4

The first stop is Palamos which is located on the Mediterranean Costa Brava in Spain. Palamos is your gateway to the Costa Brava’s stunning beauty and the cultural wonders of Catalonia. This coastal town has a rich culture, a historic old town and a beautiful coastline. Spend the day exploring the Cathedral of Girona, marvel at the spectacular art at the Dali Theatre-Museum, or simply relax at one of the pristine beaches.

Day 5

Next your cruise will dock at Sete, France. This town is surrounded by water and features a number of beautiful canals running through the town. Climb Mount St. Clair for spectacular views of the town or sample the delicious seafood at the many fine restaurants. Alternatively, take a trip to the Historic Fortified City of Carcassonne, an UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore this medieval fortified town’s massive defences, the spectacular castle and the magnificent Gothic cathedral.

Day 6 – 7

The next stop is Palma de Mallorca, Spain. This city features a rich cultural heritage inherited from the Romans, Moors and Catholics who lived here since 123 BC. Stroll through the narrow cobbled streets of Palma’s casco antiguo and admire its elegant archways, grand historic palacios, medieval churches and charming squares. Be sure to visit Bellever Castle and Spain’s second largest Gothic Cathedral or take a trip to Valldemossa, a village steeped with old world charm.

Today is a day at sea onboard the Silver Nova. While at sea, take some time to recharge before your next port of call. Lounge by the pool, visit the spa, treat your tastebuds at one of the many onboard restaurants or enjoy some entertainment.

Today your cruise will dock at Tangier, set on the Maghreb coast in North Africa. Tangier is Europe’s gateway to Africa featuring an intriguing blend of cultures and influences which is unique to the rest of Morocco. Spend your day exploring the lively waterfront and bustling markets. A trip to Tangier is not complete without a trip to the Medina. This incredible attraction features a number of alleyways which are contained by the walls of a 15th century Portuguese fortress.

Next your cruise will dock in Casablanca, Morocco. Casablanca is the biggest city in Morocco and boasts beautiful French Colonial architecture and boulevards lined with mouth watering eateries including French-fusion restaurants, buzzy beachfront joints and raw seafood bars. Be sure to visit the Hassan II Mosque, the largest mosque in Morocco which took 7 years to build. Afterwards, wander through the medina’s maze of alleys which is full of a variety of shops, spice stalls, butchers, and busy local cafes.

Your cruise will end in Lisbon where you will enjoy a two night post-cruise stay in PortoBay Liberdade in Lisbon. This 5 star hotel is located in Rua Rosa Araújo, next to Avenida da Liberdade, the most elegant avenue right in the heart of the city, making this hotel the perfect base for guests to explore Lisbon. Visit St. George’s Castle, a citadel which was built by the Romans more than 2000 years ago or head to Time Out Market Lisboa to enjoy the best Portuguese food. For those who want to venture outside the city a trip to Sintra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a must.
