Your Itinerary

Day 1 – 4

Your journey will be begin in Barbados with a three night pre cruise stay at Sea Breeze Beach House in a Classic Poolside Garden Room on an All Inclusive basis. This All Inclusive coastal resort set in three lush acres is directly located on over 1,000ft of Caribbean beachfront and offers guests the best in Bajan charm and hospitality, a pristine white sand beach and three outdoor pools. Relax by the pool on an oversized memory foam lounger or re-invigorate in one of the two adult-only hot tubs. On day 4 you will transfer to Bridgetown where you will begin your seven night cruise with Windstar onboard the Wind Spirit.

Day 5

The first stop on your cruising journey is Pigeon Island. This National Landmark is regarded as one of the most important monuments of St Lucia’s history and is home to impressive ruins of English forts, archaeological relics of Arawak Indians and pristine beaches. Guests can choose from a range of shore excursions to discover this incredible destination.

Day 6

The next stop is Castries, a small tropical island in Saint Lucia which is still relatively unknown. Visit the historic La Toc Battery, see the banana plantations or watch silk screening at Bagshaws. Be sure to check out Pointe Seraphine, located near the port, where you will find duty-free goods as well as Castries Central Market which is stocked with native spices and hand-made crafts. You will then depart Castries at 3pm and head to the Pictons, two incredible towering mountains which has gained UNESCO World Heritage status.

Day 7

The next destination on this incredible cruising adventure is Kingstown, the capital city of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. This charming city is well known for its churches, cobblestone streets, colonial buildings and the St. Vincent Botanical Gardens. Visit Fort Charlotte which is located on a high ridge north of the city and offers spectacular panoramic views of the city and the surrounding islands. Also be sure to visit St. Geroge’s Anglican Cathedral and St. Mary’s Catholic Cathedral.

Day 8

Today your cruise will dock at Mayreau, the smallest inhabited island in the Grenadines. With less than 300 residents and miles of beautiful pristine beaches, you will feel as though you are on your own private island.

Day 9

Next your cruise will dock at St. George’s, the capital of Grenada. St. George’s is a lively seaside town which is surrounded by flourishing nature and is located just below an old volcano. Grenada is famous for its spices, namely cinnamon and nutmeg, making a tour of the spice estates a must visit. Also be sure to visit Fort Frederick which is regarded as Grenada’s best preserved fort. This fort is perched on top of Richmond Hill and offers magnificent panoramic views of the city. Another must visit is the Westerhall Estate which is a rum distillery located just a 10 minute drive from the city and is home to the oldest working waterway in the western hemisphere. Marvel at the old artefacts and equipment which makes up the rum making process in addition to sampling a wide range of rums such as the “Spicy Rum Punch”.

Day 10

Today your cruise will dock in Bequia Island, the second largest in the Grenadines Island chain. Bequia is one of the more off the beaten track islands in the Grenadine islands built along a picturesque bay with forested hills behind. Wander along the Belmont Walkway to the Gingerbread for delicious homemade nutmeg ice cream and then continue along to the beautiful pristine Princess Margaret Beach. Be sure not to miss the exceptional craftsmanship at the Sargeant Brothers Model Boat Shop.

Your cruise will end back in Bridgetown where you will transfer to the airport for your flight home.
