Days 1 - 3
This incredible itinerary kicks off with two nights at The Edgewater Hotel. Featuring amazing views of the Olympic Mountains and the sparkling waters of Elliot Bay, the hotel most importantly provides easy access to the eclectic and dynamic city of Seattle. Discover the city’s best loved attractions and explore a thriving food and drink scene with the stunning Mount Rainier in the background.
Day 4
Spend the first full day onboard Royal Princess®, a perfect opportunity for exploring and indulging. Take the chance to explore the ship, from dining onboard to live entertainment and more.
Day 5
Day five presents the first chance to disembark in Alaska’s capital, Juneau. Once home to three of the largest gold mines in the world, today the town is more commonly visited due to its breathtaking glaciers and stunning views of both water and mountains.
Day 6
On day six, arrive in Skagway, previously known as the gateway to the gold fields. In the 1800s, the town was a thriving scene of hotels, saloons, dance halls and gambling houses. Fast forward to 2026, the population now sits at around 1,000 and visitors can get a glimpse of the retaining flavour of the gold rush era.
Day 7
Day seven onboard is unlike any other. Sailing through Glacier Bay National Park, this is a true highlight of the voyage. Witness some of the most spectacular tidewater glaciers in the world, that frequently drop colossal chunks of ice into the sea, while listening to the expert Park Rangers who come onboard to share their amazing knowledge. They may even help identify the abundance of wildlife, including humpback whales, sea otters, porpoises, harbor seals, black bears, mountain goats and bald eagles!
Day 8
Another chance to head off the ship, Ketchikan is also known as Alaska’s “First City”. With an intriguing history, the rich Native heritage of the area boasts the world’s oldest collection of Totem Poles. Explore these at the Totem Heritage Centre, appreciate the beauty of this scenic town or venture to the nearby magnificent Misty Fjords National Monument.
Day 9
The final stop before disembarking, Victoria in Canada is a discovery of old-world charm. Beautifully positioned, take a trip to the Inner Harbour and delight in the ferries and floatplanes before exploring the renowned beautiful gardens and charming houses that feel distinctively British.
Day 10
Return back to Seattle early morning and grab a final chance to explore the cities rich history before your journey onwards.
