Days 1-5

Day 6

Day 7
Day seven arrives and it’s finally time to board Oceania Allura. Parting from Rome’s iconic sights, find your luxuriously appointed Veranda Stateroom and get familiar with some of the ship’s most inviting spaces.
Day 8
Travel south to Salerno and discover the famed towns and villages that lie built into the cliff of the Amalfi Coast. A UNESCO World Heritage site for its quintessential Mediterranean scenery, don’t miss the opportunity to take postcard-worthy photos of the houses precariously perched on the shoreside cliffs.
Day 9
Destroyed by an earthquake in the 17th century, Catania was once in ruins but today, due to beautiful restoration, the city thrives. Ancient churches, castles, amphitheatres, lush gardens and palazzos have been carefully restored to its former glory. Tour the 13th century Ursino Castle which was situated along the coast until earthquakes and volcanic eruptions transformed the landscape.
Day 10
Arrive in Valletta and discovery the myriad of cultural layers that make up Malta’s capital, whether it be the amazing prehistoric temples at Tarxien, the beautifully walled medieval Mdina or visiting the nearby colourful fishing villages. The city itself is filled with stunning scenery, imposing churches and streets of fortified towns.
Day 11
The capital of the island of Cephalonia, Argostoli resides in a sheltered bay along Koutavos Lagoon. Catch glimpses of loggerhead turtles before admiring the island’s two distinctive landmarks, Drapano Bridge and the Lighthouse of Saint Theodore.
Day 12
An undiscovered gem, Igoumenitsa stands on the site of a settlement dating back to the 4th century BC. Once a thriving capital built by the Romans, the archaeological site Nikopolis was founded in 31 BC and is now a popular tourist site, along with several other ancient sites nearby.
Day 13
Bar’s palm-lined waterfront promenade makes way to the Old Town of Stari Bar that lies perched on the hillside. Centuries of history can be spotted within its Byzantine fortifications, Ottoman aqueduct and ancient clocktower that stands as a symbol of the city. Nearby, one of the most famous sites is a 2,000 year old olive tree that’s believed to be the oldest in Europe.
Day 14
Enjoy a walk through this famous walled medieval city that’s filled with exquisite Venetian monuments. In the city, the Franciscan monastery and Rector’s palace are perfect for exploring or venture further afield to the countryside and the lovely Cavtat, an enchanting seaside resort with a unique history.
Day 15
Hidden amongst famous Adriatic destinations, Zadar offers beautiful beaches, charming promenades, preserved ancient architecture and fascinating historical monuments. Roman aqueducts, forums and temples surround the old town while the archaeological museum features a collection of more than 80,000 exhibits ranging from the Stone Age to the late Middle Ages.
Day 16
Returning to Italy, dock in Trieste and bid farewell to your ship. A crossroad between Latin, Slavic and Germanic cultures, this is the perfect spot to continue your onward travel.
