Day 1 - 2

Arrive in Barbados and transfer to the luxurious Sandy Lane, where you’ll stay for the next two nights. Explore this exquisite hotel with exceptional golf, spa, and wellness offerings. At just three square miles in size, take a moment to marvel at this tropical paradise of your dreams. The smallest of the four main British Virgin Islands and taking its name from a 17th century Dutch pirate, Jost van Dyke is often referred to as the “Barefoot Island”, inviting visitors to kick off their shoes and unwind amid swaying palms and sparkling waves. This rugged island is remote and all-natural yet still maintains a distinct Caribbean-feel in its cuisine and culture. Hike a few miles east to the “Bubbly Pool” where waves roll through boulders to form a naturally occurring “hot tub” swimming spot.

Tucked into the West End of Tortola, Soper’s Hole is the classic Caribbean yacht haven, the jungle-covered island is an adventurer’s paradise. Seek thrill on a 4x4 tour of the island, or board a sleek powerboat for an exhilarating cruise across the waters. Sandy beaches and shallow shores are plentiful for an idyllic day of sunbathing and snorkelling in the clear waters abundant with life. A notorious den for pirates in the past, dive to explore shipwrecks and maybe discover hidden treasures buried beneath the waves.

Step back in time to the island of Bequia, with its gorgeous sweeps of sand fronted by gently lilting azure waters which have entertained royalty. Explore a turtle sanctuary, restored plantation house, and British fortifications built to ward off pirates, all under the steady gaze of Mount Pleasant. As famous for its dazzling waters as its celebrity connections, the resort of Mustique was a favourite of the late Princess Margaret. Set sail for the powdery white-sand shores and explore its local hotspots, cooling off in the sea when needed. Rising out of the Caribbean Sea in a heap of steep, green, volcanic mountains. The island of Grenada is a true Caribbean all-rounder – national parks overflowing with tropical birds and tumbling waterfalls, beaches with sand as soft and golden as caster sugar, and an underwater sculpture park to swim over. With the smell of spice in the air, the country offers a rich culinary experience with plenty of spice and flavour influencing their menus. As the day heats up, cool off the natural way by plunging into one of Grenada’s spectacular waterfalls. When the sun starts to set, make the climb to Fort George, the 18th century stronghold in the harbour, for those postcard-worthy views.

Behold the quaint historical harbour as you cruise back into Bridgetown Barbados, concluding your epic voyage across the Caribbean. Another two-night stay in the luxurious Sandy Lane allows you to explore all the remaining sights and sounds (or just relax on the sandy shores and reflect on the unforgettable memories) of the island paradise whilst returning to a secluded escape for that perfect night’s sleep before returning home to the UK.
