Day 1 – 3

Enjoy a two night pre-cruise stay at the Confidante Miami Beach, perfectly located between the hustle of South Beach and Miami’s hip art district, in a King Room. This luxurious hotel was originally built in the 1940s, honouring its retro-glam roots the hotel has a nostalgic and playful environment. Take a dip in one of the two hotel pools, including one which is exclusively for adults only, or work out at the state-of-the-art indoor-outdoor fitness centre. Before setting off on your cruise be sure to explore the rich cultures and communities that give Miami it’s unique feeling.

The first stop is St. John’s, Antigua. Discover beautiful beaches hidden among the numerous cliffs and bays. This diverse landscape is perfect for eco-adventurers. Spend the day swimming and snorkelling with gentle stingrays, zip-lining in the treetops through the Antiguan rain forest, take a breath taking catamaran trip, or sunbathe on one of the beautiful pristine beaches. There are also a variety of unique shops where shoppers will find Caribbean fashions and local crafts.

The next stop is Bridgetown, Barbados. Bridgetown is full of history which will be evident as you wander through the town and see the statue of Admiral Horatio Nelson, the Parliament Buildings, St Michaels Cathedral, St Mary’s church, Jubilee Gardens and finally over Chamberlain Bridge. Also be sure to walk along the beautiful seaside boardwalk where you will find excellent shoreline cafes and restaurants. Find your sense of adventure with a variety of water sports including jet skiing at the lively Mullins Beach, paddle boarding at Pebbles Beach, or surfing at Atlantic Shores. Don’t miss the chance to experience a safari into the Barbados Wildlife Reserve where you may spot green monkeys, a rare sight outside of Africa. Explore Harrison’s Cave from a tram where you will see stalactites, stalagmites, and underground streams.

Day 8

Dock at St. George’s, the capital city of Grenada. St. George’s is a lively seaside town which is surrounded by flourishing nature and is located just below an old volcano. Grenada is famous for its spices, namely cinnamon and nutmeg, making a tour of the spice estates a must visit. Also be sure to visit Fort Frederick which is regarded as Grenada’s best preserved fort. This fort is perched on top of Richmond Hill and offers magnificent panoramic views of the city. Another must visit is the Westerhall Estate which is a rum distillery located just a 10 minute drive from the city and is home to the oldest working waterway in the western hemisphere. Marvel at the old artefacts and equipment which makes up the rum making process in addition to sampling a wide range of rums such as the “Spicy Rum Punch”.

The next stop is Castries, St Lucia. St Lucia is a small, beautiful tropical island which is still relatively unknown. Be sure to check out Pointe Seraphine, located near the port, where you will find duty-free goods as well as Castries Central Market which is stocked with native spices and hand-made crafts. Also be sure to visit the city square and the historic Catholic church. Alternatively, why not take a leisurely coastal cruise past Marigot Bay.

The next stop on your cruising adventure is Gustavia, the capital city of the island of St. Barts. Explore this enchanting island and take in the beauty of its rugged coastline and its pristine unspoiled landscape. You will certainly not run out of things to do in the city that never sleeps. Explore Central Park by bike, be amazed by the lights at Times Square and the Theatre District, visit the famous Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, see a musical at Broadway, marvel at the views from the top of the Empire State Building, or pay your respects at the 9/11 Memorial Plaza and the 9/11 Museum. Art lovers should be sure to visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Museum of Modern Art.
