Day 1 – 3
Your journey will begin in Vancouver with a two night pre cruise stay at the Fairmont Pacific Rim in a Fairmont Room on a bed and breakfast basis. Located just five minutes from the Coal Harbour Waterfront, the Fairmont Pacific Rim offers 367 lavish guestrooms and suites, plus three restaurants. Spend your days in Vancouver exploring all this vibrant city has to offer. Stroll through the beautiful Stanley Park, eat your way around the food stalls at Richmond Night Market or discover British Columbia’s wealth of marine life on a whale watching cruise. Your seven night luxury cruise onboard Silversea’s Silver Nova will begin on day three.
Day 4
Relax and enjoy a full day of scenic Inside Passage onboard Silversea’s Silver Nova. Alaska’s Inside Passage is a protected network of waterways that wind through glacier-cut fjords and lush temperate rain forests along the rugged coast of Southeast Alaska. Arguably one of the greatest cruising routes in the world!
Day 5
The first stop is Ketchikan, Alaska. This unique Alaskan port is known as the Salmon Capital of the World and is famous for its rich native culture and the magnificent Misty Fjords National Monument. Be sure to visit Ketchikan's Heritage Centre, home to a collection of intricately caved totem poles, preserving the heritage of the indigenous Tlingit and Haida people of these lands.
Day 6
Today you will cruise to Juneau, Alaska and visit the most remote, most beautiful and strangest state capital in the United States. With 1,500 square miles of ice field to discover, one of the best ways to appreciate the magnitude and majesty of this remarkable ice sculpture is on an exhilarating sightseeing flight. Alternatively power across the ice in a snow-sledge, fish for huge catches, or kayak just below the glaciers. No matter how you choose to immerse yourself in this spectacular destination, Juneau’s exceptional outdoor adventures never disappoint.
Day 7
The next stop is Skagway, Alaska where you will journey back in time to the days of the last great gold rush. Spend your day visiting the Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park and wander through the town’s historic downtown area. Skagway is also a fantastic location for witnessing Alaska’s pristine wildlife and unrivalled natural beauty.
Day 8
Today your cruise will dock in Sitka, Alaska, a distant land of bears, wild landscapes and icy adventures and the only Inside Passage community which fronts the Pacific Ocean. The snow-capped peak of Mount Edgecumbe, a dormant volcano, draws comparisons with Mount Fuji’s symmetrical cone. There is no shortage of ways to experience Sitka’s natural wonders. Spend the day fishing for colossal King salmon, flying above snow-dusted mountain ridges or savouring Northwest frontier cuisine in waterfront restaurants.
Day 9
Today will be spent cruising the Hubbard Glacier, Alaska. Hubbard Glacier is the largest glacier in North America, with a calving front which is more than six miles wide.
Day 10 – 11
Your cruise will end on day 10 where guests will then board the Alaska Railroad Gold Star Service train to Anchorage. On arrival in Anchorage transfer to the Hotel Captain Cook where guests will spend the next night in a Deluxe Room on a bed and breakfast basis. From stunning ice-blue glaciers to beluga whales and the famous bore tide, a stay in Anchorage will certainly not disappoint. On day 11 guests will transport to the airport for their flight home.
