Your Itinerary

Day 1 – 3

Your journey will begin in Athens with a two night stay at the One&Only Aethesis. This ancient city is famous for its rich culture, ancient ruins, and beautiful beaches. Spend your days exploring this fascinating city which features an abundance of attractions including the Acropolis Museum, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, and the Acropolis of Athens, a citadel situated on a rocky outcrop containing ruins of several ancient buildings. On day three guests will transfer to the port to begin their 12 night All Inclusive cruise onboard Seven Seas Voyager.

Day 4

The first stop is Santorini, Greece. Santorini is stunningly scenic and breathlessly romantic with its azure domes and whitewash buildings which cascade down the island’s slopes. Gaze out over a legendary Santorini sunset with endless expanse of blue waves filling the massive volcanic caldera of the island. Head to the east side of the island to explore the stunning volcanic-sand beaches which vary in hues from charcoal-black to flame-red.

Day 5

Next your cruise will dock in the seaside Greek town of Katakolon. Visit Ancient Olympia, the birthplace of the Olympic Games, which is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Relive the roaring cheers of the spectators as the athletes took their marks on the marble starting blocks, and picture the temples, the treasuries, the porticoes and statues as they were.

Today your cruise will dock in Corfu, Greece. This Greek Island located in the Ionian Sea is well known for its spectacular landscape, pristine sandy beaches and its historic old town, which is an UNESCO World Heritage Site. Spend your day visiting Spianada Square, climbing the Old Venetian Fortress, or simply relaxing at one of the beautiful beaches.

The next destination is Kotor, a coastal town in Montenegro, situated in secluded part of the Gulf of Kotor. This town features a spectacular location, situated between towering mountains and the pristine bay. Full of culture, history, museums, churches, café-strewn squares, and Venetian palaces and pillories, guests will be spoiled for things to do. Be sure to visit the old city wall built by the House of Nemanjicc, a UNESCO World Heritage site and also the Cathedral of Saint Tryphon.

Next your cruise will dock in Urbino, a UNESCO World Heritage listed Renaissance hill town in Italy. This beautiful town is home to towering city walls built according to designs by Leonardo daVinci as well as boutique shops and quaint outdoor cafes. A trip to Urbino is not complete without a visit to the Ducal Palace, an architectural masterpiece which has stood for more than 500 years in the Piazza Duca Frederico.

The next stop is Ravenna, the former capital of the Western Roman Empire. This Italian city is home to brilliantly preserved Byzantine basilicas and baptisteries, magnificent mausoleums and museums filled with mosaics dating from the 5th century as well as beautiful beaches. Spend your day visiting the Church of San Vitale, the Mausoleum of Galla Placidia, and the 6th century ivory throne of Archbishop-Maximian at the Museo Arcivesoville.

Today your cruise will dock in Split, the largest Croatian city on the Adriatic coast. This coastal town is brimming with culture and history. Don’t miss the opportunity to visit Diocletian’s Palace, one of the most imposing ancient Roman structures in existence today and one of Split’s main attractions.

The next day is a day at sea onboard Regent’s Seven Seas Voyager. Take this time to recharge before your next port of call. Lounge by the pool, visit the spa, treat your tastebuds at one of the many onboard restaurants or enjoy some entertainment.

Today guests will return to Greece for a day docked in Heraklion, the capital city of Crete. This city is home to beautiful pristine beaches, a range of archaeological treasures and delicious Cretan food. Don’t miss a visit to Heraklion Archaeological Museum, home to treasures of Minoan civilization and finds covering more than 5,500 years of Crete’s history as well as the Palace of Knossos, a centre of Minoan power dating back to 2000 BC.

Next your cruise will dock in Kusadasi, a lively seaside city with a bustling Aegean beach scene and an abundance of excellent restaurants and cafes. Kusadasi is perhaps even more well known for being the base to explore the magnificent remains of Ephesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site located just 10 miles inland from the port. Ephesus is an incredibly well-preserved site and a true archaeological wonder. Walk the ruins of these ancient streets, which was once home to 150,000 people, marveling at the famous Library of Celsus, the massive amphitheatre, and the stunning Terrace Houses.

Your cruise will end in Istanbul, Turkey where you will enjoy a docked overnight stay followed by a two night post cruise stay at the Shangri-La Bosphorus Istanbul. Spanning Europe and Asia, exotic Istanbul is one of the world's most fascinating cities. Domes and minarets enhance the skyline. Landmarks include Hagia Sophia, once Christendom's greatest church; the Blue Mosque with its striking Iznik tiles; Topkapi Palace, containing a sultan's ransom of treasures; Chora Church with its Byzantine mosaics; and the Grand Bazaar, the ultimate shopping experience.
