Upon arrival at the airport transfer to The Chedi Muscat, an elegant oasis perfectly located for exploring the city for your 2 night stay. This afternoon depart for a sunset cruise around Muscat's spectacular coastline. On this two hours cruise through unspoiled seas, you can enjoy the many scenes that reflect Omani history and Portuguese architecture around Old Muscat. Watch the sun setting behind the spectacular golden mountain back drop of Muscat city from the sea grabbing the chance to snap perfect mix of hues paintings the city. Just as the waters turn gold, you will return to the marina with lots of memories to cherish.

This morning take a half-day tour which starts with a visit to the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, the architectural masterpiece. The main chandelier is made of pure Swarovski crystals and the carpet adorning the large prayer hall was woven by experts, made from pure Persian silk. The Mosque exterior is constructed with quality Rajasthani Sandstone and the main halls as well as the smaller prayer rooms are adorned with the finest Italian Marble.  From the Mosque you will head to Mutrah to see the fishermen in action at the fish market followed by a walk around the traditional Souq, a visit Bait al Zubair museum with its display of archeological findings and Omani national dress and jewellery, as well as Sultan's Al Alam Palace and the historic Jalali and Mirani forts which still guar the natural harbour. 

The rest of your day is at your lesiure to enjoy the hotel's facilities. 

Muscat - Bahla - Jabreen - Jebel Akhdar

Upon check-out you will start your journey to the mountain with a stop at Nizwa. Nizwa region is full of history and experiences with the first stop at the House of Amouage and vistors centre to experience one of the world's finest fragances. After this visit, we are back on the road to Nizwa to admire the Fort and the Souq before stopping in town for a picnic or lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, the day continues with stunning pieces of architecture - Bahla Fort, which was the oldest and first Omani fort built in Islamic style, Jabreen Castle, which is one of the finest of Omanis castles built during the late 17th century. Further down the road we will stop in the traditional mountain village of Al Hamra that cherishes tradition with famous Bait al Safah living museum. 

After immersing yourself within Nizwa travel to Jebel Akhdar - known as The Green Mountain, view it's wadis, plateaus, peaks and terraced hillside.

Nizwa - Wahiba Sands

Visit Nizwa Fort, overlooking the ancient city, with it's colourful domes, shop for bargains in Nizwa Souq. After lunch, drive to Wahiba Sands, enjoy a short exhilarating round of "dune bashing" in 4 WDS, followed by a visit to a Bedouin home. Sleep sheltered by Bedouin style accommodation under a roof of starry skies.

Wahiba Sands - Muscat

After breakfast, your journey back to Muscat begins with a stop via Sur. The Coastal road from Sur to Muscat brings different experience to each traveler, with the mountains on one side and the blue sea on the other. On this trip you will experience the sinkhole rated as the most beautiful in the world - Bimmah Sinkhole, that reflects the legend of the falling star; the white beach Finns, one of Oman’s most stunning beaches and popular local camping site. After lunch you can choose between a drive into Wadi Tiwi or a hike into Wadi Shab (approx2,5hrs) before getting back on the road to Sur where you can walk around the old Dhow Yard watching the traditional craftsmen at work.
