place DAYS 1 - 2 - Bangkok

Bangkok

Arrive in Bangkok and spend the rest of the day at leisure. In the morning visit The Royal Grand Palace and Wat Pho, the home the Reclining Buddha. Explore Chinatown before continuing to The Bangkok Folk Museum. Hop on a long tail boat for a ride along the Chao Phraya River before visiting the magnificent Wat Arun, Temple of Dawn.

place DAY 3 - Bangkok - Sukhothai

Bangkok - Sukhothai

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Sukhothai. Take a tour of Sukhothai Historical Park, once a walled city which contains almost 200 ruined chedis.

place DAYS 4 - 5 - Sukhothai - Chiang Mai

Sukhothai - Chiang Mai

After breakfast, drive north to Si Satchanalai Historical Park on the bank of the Yom River before continuing to Chiang Mai via Lampang. The following day enjoy a cruise along the rural Mae Ping River. Explore the ancient city of Chiang Mai and visit Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, the most sacred temple in Northern Thailand. After a private blessing ceremony, witness the magical evening chanting of the monks.

place DAYS 6 - 8 - Chiang Mai - Luang Prabang

Chiang Mai - Luang Prabang

Travel from Chiang Mai to Luang Prabang. The following morning begins with a city tour exploring the history of Laos and finishes with a visit to one of its most important temples. The afternoon includes a bike ride and visit to the Phousi Market. As the sun begins to rise on your second morning in Laos, orange-robed monks leave their pagodas and walk barefoot down the streets collecting offerings. Take a traditional boat cruise on the mighty Mekong River, travelling upstream to reach Pak Ou Caves where hundreds of sacred, centuries-old Buddha images are displayed.

Arrive in Hanoi and transfer to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

place DAY 10 - Hanoi - Halong Bay

Hanoi - Halong Bay

This morning leave Hanoi for Halong Bay. After a welcome onboard, lunch will be served while cruising towards the bay. In the afternoon, enjoy some activities or spend time relaxing onboard. The boat sets anchor for the night amongst the karst formations.

Halong Bay - Hanoi

The sun rises on Halong in the morning and breakfast is served while you cruise slowly through the magnificent rock formations and back towards port. Arrive back in Hanoi late in the afternoon, join a half day city tour to discover the charming and historic capital city of Vietnam.

Take a short flight to Hue. Join the Hue discovery tour, beginning at the Imperial Citadel and visit Thien Mu Pagoda which overlooks the Perfume River.

place DAYS 13 - 14 - Hue - Hoi An

Hue - Hoi An

The scenic route from Hue to Hoi An travels through the picturesque fishing village of Lang Co before climbing over the Pass of Ocean Clouds. In the afternoon take a walking tour of the ancient town of Hoi An to visit the former merchants’ homes, the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge and the colourful market.

place DAY 15 - Hoi An - Ho Chi Minh City

Hoi An - Ho Chi Minh City

Transfer to Danang Airport for the short flight to Ho Chi Minh City. The afternoon tour includes the Reunification Hall, formerly known as the Presidential Palace, and a stroll around the major sights of colonial Ho Chi Minh City.

place DAYS 16 - 18 - Ho Chi Minh City - Siem Reap

Ho Chi Minh City - Siem Reap

This morning is free at leisure before transferring to the airport for the flight to Siem Reap, the base for exploring the fabled temples of Angkor and the ancient capital of the Khmer empire. In the morning embark on a boat trip on the Tonlé Sap Lake and learn about life on Southeast Asia’s largest freshwater lake. Later, hop on a local ramork and be taken on a special tour of Angkor Wat. The following day explore the temples of the Small Circuit.
