The USA is synonymous with road trips and a fly-drive holiday by car, motorcycle or motorhome is one of the most iconic ways of exploring the open roads. Route 66 is known as the ultimate road trip, starting on the northeast coast of Chicago, Illinois and finishing on the shores of the Pacific Ocean on the west coast of Santa Monica, California. The Mother Road as it is also known, is filled with an array of quirky attractions, popular photo stops, natural wonders and vibrant cities.

Indulge in the dynamic dining scene, visit the first-class museums and shop until you drop at Magnificent Mile.

place DAY 3 - Springfield, Illinois

Catch a taste of classic Americano as you pass by retro roadside diners and quaint 1930’s gas stations.

Today you will drive west for approximately five hours before entering the American South. En route stop at the beloved 20 foot tall Blue Whale of Catoosa. Continue onto Oklahoma City and spot an array of Route 66 nostalgia including motels, gas stations and several vintage buildings.
