Arrive Uluru

On arrival in Uluru, you will be transferred to your hotel. Later in the day, visit the Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre to delve into the Western Desert region's rich heritage. Then enjoy a leisurely drive to Kata Tjuta for an unforgettable sunset experience, listening as your guide shares geological and cultural insights along the way.  
Marvel at the unique outback landscape as the sun sets over the Central Valley of the domes of Kata Tjuta, while enjoying delicious canapés and a crisp glass of Australian wine.

Kings Canyon

After sunrise, it’s time to head to the ethereal 36 domes of Kata Tjuta. On the way, pause to appreciate the panoramic views of Kata Tjuta's southern side from a dune viewing platform before arriving at Walpa Gorge. Later, visit the Cultural Centre and explore its galleries, then experience the spiritual essence of Uluru with a guided walk to Mutitjulu Waterhole. 

Uluru & Kata Tjuta – Alice Springs

This morning, you will be picked up from your accommodation and taken the short distance to the Field of Light art installation. Marvel at the tens of thousands of lights and learn about the internationally renowned artist, Bruce Munro.  

In the afternoon, you will be transferred to Alice Springs. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure to explore this most quintessential of all outback towns.

Alice Springs – The Ghan

Departing from Alice Springs in the early evening, get your first taste of life aboard the legendary Ghan train and settle in for an unforgettable journey through the Northern Territory to Darwin. Enjoy an all-inclusive rail adventure with modern Australian cuisine and regional fine wines served on board. Socialise with your fellow travellers as you travel north through Australia’s heartland before retiring to your comfortable private cabin for the night. 

The Ghan – Darwin

The awe-inspiring wilderness of Katherine is a captivating combination of rugged landscapes and rich Aboriginal culture, which you’ll have the chance to explore from water or land with a choice of off-train adventures today. Marvel at jaw-dropping views cruising through the Nitmiluk Gorge, discovering its ancient Indigenous rock paintings and learning about the culture of the land’s traditional owners, the Jawoyn people. Alternatively, a visit to a traditional cattle station allows you to see what day-to-day life in the outback is like.      
Once back onboard, sit down for lunch as the train winds its way through a lush tropical landscape on the way to Darwin, arriving in the early evening. Transfer to your hotel for a three night stay.

Kakadu National Park 

Experience Kakadu's incredible beauty and biodiversity on a full-day tour. Teeming with unique wildlife on land, in water and the air, the concentration and diversity of species in the park is extraordinary.   
Join a local guide for a cruise on the renowned Yellow Water Billabong and search for native wildlife, including saltwater crocodiles and a variety of birdlife. After lunch, visit Nourlangie Rock to admire ancient Aboriginal rock art, enriching your understanding of this culturally significant region. 
 

Darwin

Day seven is at your leisure to relax and enjoy the hotel's amenities. Your tour ends the next day with a transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
