Itinerary

place DAYS 1 - 2 - Windhoek and Central Namibia

Windhoek and Central Namibia

Welcome to Namibia! Arrive in Windhoek and pick up your car before driving to your accommodation for the next two nights. Days here can be spent practising yoga on the deck before setting off on thrilling game drives around the reserve, where rhinos, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, leopards and cheetahs roam free. Then it's time for downtime - relaxing in your stylish tented suite, around the swimming pool with its panoramic views or in the spa. Refuel with delicious and nourishing meals and soak up the views, sundowner in hand.

place DAYS 3 - 4 - NamibRand Nature Reserve

NamibRand Nature Reserve

With the striking landscape of NamibRand National Reserve on the doorstep and the renowned site of Sossusvlei nearby, there's plenty to explore during your two days in the Namib Desert. Head out on foot, quad bike, horseback or in a safari vehicle to get a view of the vast landscape. Once night falls, it's time to appreciate some of the best stargazing in the world in the only Dark Sky Reserve in Africa.

place DAYS 5 - 6 - Swakopmund

Swakopmund

From the adrenaline-fuelled to the more sedate, there's a variety of activities to choose from in Swakopmund and the surrounding area. You might want to get to know the town on a guided Segway tour, or perhaps venturing out into the vast Namib Desert is more up your street? There's seaside wonders to discover along Namibia's coast, where wildlife and decaying shipwrecks sit side by side.

place DAYS 7 - 8 - Damaraland

Damaraland

Drive north into one of Namibia's most remote areas, home to endless vistas of plains, valleys and mountains and one of the largest and most important concentrations of rock art in Africa. Staying at Damaraland Camp, there's time to discover desert-adapted wildlife on game drives and nature walks, as well as enjoy an excursion to the World Heritage Site of Twyfelfontein.

place DAYS 9 - 10 - Etosha, Ongava Game Reserve

Etosha, Ongava Game Reserve

Arriving in Etosha, you'll spend two nights at luxury safari lodge, Anderssons At Ongava, located in a private game reserve. Discover a myriad of wildlife on exciting game drives and fascinating nature walks, and grab your camera to capture up-close images in the water-level viewing hide. The Ongava Research Centre is open to guests keen to learn more about conservation science and Ongava Reserve's place in it, while back at the lodge a bustling waterhole provides plenty of on-site entertainment.

place DAYS 11 - 12 - Etosha, Onguma Game Reserve

Etosha, Onguma Game Reserve

Originally part of the greater Etosha Game Reserve, Onguma Game Reserve is one of Namibia’s best kept secrets. With abundant plains game, lions, black rhinos and leopards, as well as over 300 species of birds, the wildlife encounters here are endlessly exciting.
