Los Angeles is the perfect stopping point on the way to Hawaii. Explore LA through some unique and memorable experiences, from riding horseback to view the Hollywood Sign, discovering the Venice Canals on a kayak tour, or attending a star gazing party at Griffith Observatory after dark. After enjoying the many sights and attractions of the city catch a flight to Hawaii’s state capital Honolulu.

Waikiki Beach, Oahu

Oahu is the largest and most populated of the Hawaiian Islands. The lively resort of Waikiki Beach puts you right in the heart of all the action. Spend your days on the golden sands, snorkel the turquoise waters and enjoy the variety of restaurants, shops and entertainment. Book a day trip to the USS Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor and hear all about the history of World War II in Hawaii.

After a couple of busy days in Waikiki Beach, take an hour-long car journey through the heart of the island to the peaceful North Shore. With its iconic towering waves and lush shorelines, spend a couple of days relaxing or hiking the local trails. Visit the Kualoa Ranch which has been the stunning setting for many scenes from famous movies and TV Shows including Jurassic Park, Lost and 50 First Dates. Or take time to explore Haleiwa, the social and artistic hub of the North Shore. Stroll among small boutiques and plantation-era buildings to soak up the laid-back ambiance.

Kauai

A short flight away lies the garden island of Kauai. This is the smallest and oldest of all the Hawaiian Islands where winding country roads uncover some of the most spectacular scenery in the state. There are plenty of water activities to experience from kayaking, snorkelling and surfing. Hike through Kōke’e State Park and the breathtaking Waimea Canyon or walk along the soothing white-sands of Poipu enjoying the stunning mountain and sea views.

Maui

This slice of Hawaiian paradise offers magnificent nature and a wide variety of activities. Visit the awe-inspiring Iao Valley State Park and see the impressive 1,200-foot Iao Needle. This green-mantled rock outcropping overlooks sacred lands and was used as a burial site for Hawaii’s chiefs for centuries. Choose to visit the Haleakalā National Park offering an astonishing volcanic landscape. Hear the Hawaiian legends about the dormant volcano and see the unique Haleakalā Silversword plant. Alternatively, set sail near the island of Lanai for a memorable snorkelling trip.
