Overview

A historic landmark-turned-inn, the Monmouth Historic Inn and Gardens stands within an enchanting 28-acre estate, three miles from the Mississippi River in the historic city of Natchez. Built in 1818, the mansion tells tales of the Old South and the New South.

This Antebellum Mansion is home to a collection of carefully-curated guest rooms and suites featuring antiques, artwork, rich tapestries and textiles dating from the early 19th Century. Choose a guest room in the main house or select from a variety of cottages in the landscaped grounds of the estate.

A casual menu is available in the Quitman Lounge & Study, named after a former famous resident. Dinner is served in the award-winning Restaurant 1818 and is an elegant affair in the traditional surroundings of the Antebellum Mansion. Activities include golfing, fishing and bowling, plus spa services are available upon request.
