This resort is the newest addition to the accommodation at Universal Orlando™ and adds a unique Caribbean flavour. Guests here adjust easily to ‘island time’ - the laid-back flow of life on a tropical island. The huge resort-style pool with cascading waterfalls, two sandy beaches and a waterslide is the star of the show, but the resort offers so much more including a fantastic fitness centre, a spa and rooms with beautiful views of the tranquil resort lagoon.

Rooms and suites have a relaxed charm and feature a great range of modern amenities. Rooms are decorated using a palette of calm Caribbean colours and come with views of the resort, the pool or the lagoon.

By stepping up to a suite, guests can enjoy the luxury of more space and conveniences like dining areas, kitchenettes and twin-bedded rooms especially for kids.

Beginning the day with a hearty (or healthy) breakfast and views of the shimmering lagoon is as good a start as any. And at Amatista Cookhouse, guests can enjoy these views at lunch and dinner too.

There’s a ‘grab and go’ option for families heading off on a day of adventure, al fresco seafood specialities at Drhum Kantine, and the opportunity to enjoy an immersive Caribbean experience at the Caribbean Carnaval every Wednesday or Friday night depending on the season.

Adults can sip a cocktail at Drhum Katine’s bar and fire pit, or head to the Strong Water Tavern for rum tasting, tapas and ceviche.

Guests at Loews Sapphire Falls Resort enjoy an exclusive list of Universal Orlando™ benefits like early park admission to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter and Volcano Bay water park.

The brilliant Kaline Health and Fitness Center means there’s no excuse for missing a training session and the huge resort pool means mums and dads will spend many happy hours chasing excited kids up and down the waterslide.

With so much going in at the resort, Mandara Spa is a very welcome retreat. There are range of treatments and therapies on offer, from massages and facials to body treatments and salon services, all designed to help guests look and feel their very best.

The Kids’ Club, the enormous resort pool, water slide and Loews Loves Kids programs will keep little ones busy. Accommodation here is flexible and there are even special Kids’ Suites designed specifically for those travelling with children.

Orlando International Airport, Miami International Airport or Fort Lauderdale International Airport

Approximately 25 minutes from Orlando International Airport

Florida is an ideal choice for holidays all year round. With soaring temperatures and blue skies, summer is the most popular time to visit Florida, although the wet season can make it hot and humid. With winter temperatures usually around low-mid 20°C, less rainfall and some fantastic hotel deals, this is still a great time to travel.
