The excellent choice of rooms and suites are found in the main hotel building and offer clean lines and a stylish décor, but nothing that will detract from the view beyond the window. Several of the room categories offer private balconies or terraces and access to the Hyatt Club. The generously sized suites are perfect for families, and some even have bunk beds, but for true lakeside living chose one of the beautiful cottages. With feature stone fireplaces and furnished terraces or balconies overlooking the waters of Lake Tahoe these elegant cottages have a real sense of place and offer a truly memorable stay.

The array of restaurants and bars ensures that guests are well fed and fuelled for the day’s adventures. The Lone Eagle Grille offers classic steak and seafood and the outdoor patio with fire pits is a popular spot for drinks. The Sierra Café is great for hearty breakfasts whilst Cutthroats Saloon is a bustling sports bar with gourmet pub dishes and a children’s menu. Tahoe Provisions and Tahoe To Go is a one stop shop for food on the go, they also do room delivery. During the summer Stillwater Pool Bar & Grill offers casual dining and Pier 111 is a fun spot for drinks suspended over the water.

Nestled between the beautiful Sierra Nevada mountains and the sparkling waters of Lake Tahoe, this is an adventure lover’s playground. The Hyatt Regency’s adventure specialists curate a menu of daily guided activities for guests to enjoy. These vary depending on the season but include guided hikes, archery, and cycling. Head out on the lake for a kayak paddle, test your balance with a stand-up paddle board or embark on a memorable lake cruise as the sun sets. With gondola rides, golf courses and tennis facilities nearby along with superb winter activities during the winter months, you really will be spoilt for choice.

Head to the Stillwater Spa for a blissfully alpine experience where inspiration comes from the cool waters of the lake, the crisp mountain air, and the woodland mountain fires. Choose from a menu of spa therapies and treatments designed to calm the mind, body, and soul, leaving you refreshed for the adventures that lie ahead. Alongside the spa there is a beauty salon, and the superb fitness centre is open 24/7 with Peloton bikes and cardio equipment. The indoor/outdoor pool is heated all year round and during the summer months the large pool deck is a wonderful place to soak up the sunshine.
