Overview

This once former coconut plantation has been transformed into an exquisite resort but plays homage to its past with suites and pool villas set beneath the swaying coconut palms and the use of local, natural materials throughout. An infinity-edge pool is set perfectly on the beachfront and, for those who enjoy the freedom of swimming in the sea, the Ritz Carlton boasts the only ocean swimming pool in Thailand and there’s also a swim reef where you can swim alongside more than fifty species of marine life. A truly sumptuous array of dining options reflect the clean, chilli-heat of the southern cuisine, vibrant food markets, and huge bounty of local produce all while taking you on a gastronomical journey for the senses. Spend lazy days on the two white sand beaches, kayaking across the calm sea, stand up paddle boarding or snorkelling though the clear waters and vivid marine life. Younger visitors are equally well catered for with a fabulous programme of activities designed especially for children. The sun-kissed location of the Ritz Carlton brings a wealth of tropical experiences close to hand, making this the perfect resort from which to enjoy a blissful stay on the island of Koh Samui.
