Natural wooden blinds panelled with hand printed gold patterns cast a warm glow along the walkway to each rooms. Intricate arrangements of dark sandstone and white marble animate the floor, while original Mughal coins and antique Indian fabrics decorate the walls. Every room boasts uninterrupted views of the iconic Taj Mahal, best witnessed at sunrise and sunset. Furnished with a king size bed, rooms are finished with teak wooden floor boards and carpeted with hand woven rugs. Richly upholstered armchairs sit beside wall to wall windows, inviting guests to relax in their elegant surroundings.



The two restaurants have distinctly different flavours; Bellevue is brightly lit, open all day, and serves Indian and continental cuisine. Across the hallway, the Indian speciality restaurant Esphahan offers candlelit dinners accompanied by live traditional music. Visit poolside terraces and enjoy an evening meal under the stars. In the lounge guests can enjoy tea or coffee, while in the bar guests may sip on a champagne cocktail, martini or signature iced tea while admiring the Taj Mahal.



Guest can cool off in the swimming pool under the backdrop of the Taj Mahal or work out in the state-of-the-art gym. Outside the hotel, there are plenty of adventures waiting to be enjoyed.



Visit the Oberoi Spa concealed behind large fretwork doors, tiled with dramatic dark sandstone and white marble, and decorated with oil portraits. The focal point of the spa is a dome roofed, white marble steam room. The spa is dedicated to well-being with a full range of Ayurvedic, Thai and Western treatments. Yoga sessions and meditation are also on offer.



Children can join in on a junior chef class and bake delicious cookies or become a block-printing artist! Use traditional, hand-engraved Rajasthani wooden blocks, dip them in vibrant colours and make their very own painting or scarf.
