All accommodation is all ocean facing with awe-inspiring views of the vast ocean stretching out way beyond the horizon. Contemporary style meets Fijian design in these havens of tranquillity that include indoor and outdoor showers, private decks (complete with hammock) and king size beds. Pool Villas and Bures come with expansive outdoor areas and the ultimate luxury – a private plunge pool.

The open-air restaurant at the resort is open for breakfast lunch and dinner. It is gently shaded by palms during the day and offers remarkable views of the Southern night sky in the evening. Lunch and dinner menus change daily and the chefs’ modern creations are inspired by the best Pacific Rim and Asian flavours.

Up to four couples per sitting can enjoy the resort’s Teppanyaki. Located in a private bure, this traditional Japanese style cooking is a feast for the eyes as well as the taste buds. For an extra cost, guests can also choose oceanfront dining or enjoy service in the privacy of the villas.

There’s a great range of non-motorised water sports to try, from snorkelling and paddle boarding to kayaking and Hobie Cat sailing. For those wishing to discover more about the reef and the delicate marine ecosystems, there’s a 5 Star PADI dive centre where guests can learn to dive or go on a deep-water adventure.

What better way to revitalise the body than a gentle swim in the salt and freshwater swimming pools. Or try a glass bottomed boat tour and watch the serenity of this thriving underwater world. There’s also a tennis court and hiking trails and for competitive types, there are daily crab races!

The spa with its couples’ treatment bures and volcanic rock walls is sure to offer a truly revitalising experience
