Fiji’s only overwater bures are perched just above the coral reef. They are luxuriously-appointed, handcrafted masterpieces of traditional design, featuring separate bathing pavilions with uninterrupted lagoon views, spacious decks and direct access to the warm tropical waters.

Beachfront Bures are just steps from the pristine beach. All feature comfortable day beds, outdoor showers and private courtyards. Some even have the added luxury of a private plunge pool.

Eat

Fijiana restaurant is the domain of Executive Chef Shane Watson. It serves breakfast, lunch and dinner in four areas, each offering a distinctive ambiance. Menus are inspired by quality local produce and the abundance of incredible seafood available on the doorstep.

The resort has two bars: Masima is located on the resort’s lagoon island and serves a wide variety of drinks and a selection of bar snacks, and Dua Tae which is a wine and cocktail bar and a favourite spot for pre-dinner drinks and conversation.

Play

The calm waters of the bay are perfect for stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking and snorkelling or for learning to sail and windsurf. These non-motorised water sports are complimentary, offering a great way to experience the lagoon and coral reef. There are hiking trails, a range of excursions on water and land and plenty of opportunities for some cultural interaction. The resort also has a small but fully equipped gym open 24 hours a day.

Unwind

The Tatadra Spa sits in a secluded spot, partially hidden by the lush flora and fauna of the island. Release some tension with a Fijian style massage or choose a traditional beauty or body treatment and ease away the stresses of everyday life. Cool off with a swim in the beautiful ‘horizon-edge’ swimming pool or take a sunset cruise and enjoy a glass of wine, Chef’s canapes and the Likuliku singers
