Every room has a generous outdoor area with private deck or veranda and comfortable furniture. They also feature private outdoor showers. Beachfront Bures are beautifully appointed detached cottages with private outdoor showers just a stone’s throw from the water’s edge. Honeymoon Villas and Bures offer separate sitting areas and luxurious touches including outdoor courtyards with private Jacuzzis, while Royal Beach Houses are the pinnacle of Qamea’s stunning accommodations with their private plunge pools and specially commissioned Fijian art.



Dining at Qamea is a relaxed affair punctuated by menus that champion local produce and flavours to create mouth-watering Pacific Rim cuisine. Guests can choose to dine in their Bure or Villa, enjoy a private dining experience on the beach, or head to Bure Kalau in the centre of the resort and relax with a great meal, a sunset cocktail and the company of fellow residents.



Explore the island by kayak or stand-up paddle board, or dive in with a mask and snorkel and discover a whole other world beneath the waves. Guests can even learn to scuba dive at the PADI 5 star dive centre. Keep fit in the gym or get the competitive juices flowing with a game of croquet or chess on the giant board. There’s also the opportunity to learn about Fijian culture by visiting a local village.

Humidity, temperatures and rainfall increase between November and April (the wet season), making May to October the most pleasant time to visit. However, as rain usually falls in short tropical downpours, there’s no bad time to visit Fiji.
