The Ghan

For a truly unforgettable Australian adventure few things beat the experience of traversing from the south to the north of the country aboard The Ghan. Travel coast to coast through the fiery red centre witnessing Australia at its dramatic best. This three day, two night journey from Adelaide to Darwin includes immersive off-train experiences in Marla, Alice Springs and Katherine; cruise the Nitmiluk Gorge, learn about ancient indigenous rock paintings and experience authentic outback living.

For over 90 years The Ghan has provided outback crossings however it now offers so much more than just a transit.
