Overview

If Only... in conjunction with our local Destination Management Company, offers a selection of tours in Malaysia which can be tailor-made to suit your requirements. Below is a sample tour.

Day 1:

Kota Kinabalu - Sandakan - Sepilok Nature Resort. Fly to Sandakan from Kota Kinabalu.Visit the world's largest Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre.Witness the feeding of Orang Utans and learn how they are trained to survive in the wild. Overnight at Sepilok Nature Resort.

Day 2:

Turtle Island. Morning pick up at Sepilok Nature Resort and transfer for a boat ride to Selingan Turtle Islands Park. This journey will take approximately 1 hour 15 minutes. On arrival, check into your chalet. After lunch, enjoy the afternoon at your own leisure. After dinner, the park rangers will call you to observe turtles laying their eggs in the sand. Help to transfer the eggs to the Hatchery and if there are any young turtle hatchlings, you will have the exciting opportunity to observe the release of the turtles to the sea. Overnight at chalet. Meals included: Lunch /Dinner.

Day 3:

Kinabatangan, Sukau. After breakfast, depart Selingan Turtle Island Park for Sandakan. Take a 1 hour boat cruise up to the Lower Kinabatangan River Sanctuary where you will have your lunch at Abai Jungle Restaurant. After lunch, cruise up river to Sukau village in search of primates, keeping an eye out for the Endemic Proboscis Monkeys, birds and other wildlife. Arrive at Sukau and check in at Kinabatangan Riverside Lodge. Late afternoon, there is the opportunity to take another river cruise to Menanggul River, a small tributary of the Kinabatangan. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Kinabatangan Riverside Lodge. Meals included: Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner.

Day 4:

Oxbow Lake / PM River Cruise / Sukau. Early morning, take a river trip to the Ox-Bow Lake to observe local wildlife on the longest river in Sabah. Return to the lodge for breakfast then spend some time at your own leisure. After lunch enjoy a river cruise to search formore wildlife as the sun sets. Dinner and overnight at Kinabatangan Riverside Lodge. Meals included: Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner.

Day 5:

Sandakan - Kota Kinabalu. After breakfast, cruise down river back to Sandakan. This is a final chance for wildlife sightings during the two and a half hour journey. Upon arrival, drive to the Puh Jih Syh Chinese Buddhist Temple, which offers a panoramic view of Sandakan Bay. After lunch, transfer to Sandakan Airport for your flight back to Kota Kinabalu. Meals included: Breakfast / Lunch.
