Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi

Upon arrival you will be escorted to your hotel. Take an afternoon cyclo city tour around the tree-lined streets, resplendent with French colonial architecture followed by a walking tour of the Ancient Quarter. In the early evening, visit the theatre to experience the ancient and unique artform of water puppetry. Enjoy dinner at Wild Lotus, one of Hanoi’s finest restaurants.
Overnight at the Movenpick Hotel (Superior Deluxe room) Meals included: Dinner

Day 2: Hanoi to Halong Bay
Enjoy a day cruise on-board a traditional junk boat. Sail around the stunning limestone outcroppings, cliffs and coves in Halong Bay, often called Vietnam’s eighth wonder of the world. Late afternoon, return overland to Hanoi.
Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 3: Hanoi to Danang and Hoi An
Visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and the simple house where Ho Chi Minh lived and worked, followed by a stop at the Temple of Literature. After lunch transfer to the airport for your flight to Danang, then enjoy the remainder of the evening at leisure.
Overnight at Victoria Hoi An (Superior room). Meals included: Breakfast and Lunch.

Day 4: Hoi An Take a morning excursion to the unique trading town of Hoi An. Visit a Chinese communal house, shop for art at one of the galleries and enjoy the riverside ambience. After lunch return to Victoria Hoi An for the rest of the day at leisure. Meals included: Breakfast and Lunch.

Day 5: Danang to Hue
This morning travel along Highway One and over the spectacular Hai Van Pass to Hue, home of French colonial garden villas, riverbanks and outlying tombs and pagodas. After lunch, visit Tu Duc Tomb and the Imperial Citadel before a boat trip on the Perfume River.
Dinner and overnight at La Residence Hotel, Hue. Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 6: Hue to Saigon
Morning flight from Hue to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). On arrival in Saigon take a short city tour to discover the contrasts of this bustling city. Amongst the grand old
buildings, encounter colourful markets and of course, an endless stream of bicycles, cyclos and motorbikes. Visit the former Presidential Palace, now Reunification Hall. In the afternoon, visit Cholon, with its impressive Thien Hau Temple, and Binh Tay market.
Overnight at the Intercontinental Asiana Saigon Hotel (Deluxe room). Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 7: Cu Chi Tunnels and Saigon
This morning visit the infamous Cu Chi Tunnels, the vast underground network of tunnels built as a defence against the French, then later expanded during the American war. Return to Saigon for lunch followed by an afternoon at leisure. This evening, your farewell dinner will be at the Mandarin Restaurant.
Overnight at the Intercontinental Asiana Saigon Hotel (Deluxe room). Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 8: Saigon
Enjoy your last morning at leisure.
