Day 1: Phnom Penh
On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Visit the Royal Palace and the Silver Pagoda with its shining Emerald Buddha, the National Museum and Toul Sleng in the afternoon.
Overnight at Sofitel Phnom Penh, Phnom Penh. Meals included: Dinner
Day 2: Phnom Penh to Siem Reap
After breakfast this morning, take an early flight to Siem Reap where you will be met and transferred to your hotel. After lunch, you will head out to the ancient walled city of Angkor Thom which, built in the twelfth century, contains the famous Bayon Temple.
Overnight at Le Meridien Angkor Hotel, Siem Reap. Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 3: Siem Reap
This morning visit Angkor Wat, the largest temple in the world. Inspired by twelfth century Hinduism, Angkor Wattook an estimated 30 years to build and continuously occupied by Buddhist monks, it is well preserved. Return to your hotel for lunch and this afternoon visit Ta Prohm. One of the largest temples in Angkor and dedicated in 1186, the temple has been left largely in its natural state since it’s ‘re-discovery’ by French explorers. Continue to visit Preah Khan ‘The Sacred Sword’ an extensive monastic complex covering over 56 hectares, built by the Khmer King Jayavarman VII.

Day 4: Siem Reap
After breakfast you will drive past paddy fields and local villages to visit Banteay Srei, perhaps the most beautiful of the temples. Wander around before returning to your hotel for lunch. After lunch visit to ‘Les Artisans d’Angkor’, a development project teaching young adults stone carving, wood carving and lacquer application. Then continue to Ton Le Sap Lake, the largest fresh water lake in South East Asia and the lifeblood of the Cambodian fishing industry. Hopping on board a small shaded boat will allow you to experience daily lake life up close.
Overnight at Le Meridien Angkor Hotel, Siem Reap. Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 5: Siem Reap
Your tour ends after breakfast this morning. Enjoy the rest of your day at leisure. Transfer to the airport is included if required.
