Newly opened in 2010 Constance Ephelia Resort is situated on two of the most beautiful beaches on the island of Mahé. Overlooking the marine national park of Port Launay, the hotel enjoys a unique location set within 120 hectares of land, full of luxuriant and rare vegetation.
Each of the rooms and suites comes equipped with complimentary wifi, ipod connections, a mini bar and a pillow menu. Constance Ephelia has been designed with luxury and comfort in mind. Guests will be able to unwind in one of the four swimming pools or take part in one of the many excursions available, to experience the true culture of the Seychelles.
The resort is named after the legendary goddess Ephelia who, guided by the Spirit of the Seychelles, was advised to build a ‘cathedral’ to attract Ecliptus, Prince of the Sea. As a reward for the assistance of local villagers in building this magnificent edifice, Ephelia ensured their well-being by dropping a bead of rosewater on their foreheads as the slept.
To this day the sense of well-being, relaxation and renewal found here is partially credited to the goddess Ephelia, however with 224 Suites and 45 Villas, 5 restaurants and bars, the Shiseido Spa Village and the Spa de Constance as well as a host of leisure activities, it could be said that the staff and facilites found at the Constance Ephelia also make this the perfect tropical getaway.
