Floating off the southern coast of India, this country of diverse beauty has long been known as the pearl of the Indian Ocean. Sri Lanka offers a myriad of cultural sights, an abundance of wildlife, colonial architecture, cascading waterfalls, misty mountain tops, lush tea plantations and tropical rainforests.
On our 'Classical Round Tour' of Sri Lanka you will enjoy a tour of Colombo, be enchanted by the baby orphan elephants at Pinnawela, and have the opportunity to climb the famous Sigiriya Rock Fortress before visiting caves dating back to 5BC.
Enjoy some spectacular scenery on this tour as you travel from place to place, taking in tea gardens, cascading waterfalls, ancient temples, colonial towns before arriving at Nuwara Eliya where you will have the opportunity to play golf. The tour ends in the city of Galle, but not before you have taken a Jeep safari to Yala National Park, hoping to encounter wild boar, leopards, elephants, bears and flamingos roaming freely.
The accommodation on our tour itineraries is generally in the four/five star category and in keeping with our luxury portfolio. Very occasionally however, it is necessary on certain tours to compromise a little on luxury in order to achieve the best possible reality experience. In these instances, this will be clearly detailed in the tour itinerary.
All of our tours are privately escorted. That is to say that it will only be your own party travelling, along with accompanying guide. Also, there is usually some flexibility which would enable you to deviate from the suggested itinerary, if there was somewhere you would specifically like to visit. Your guide will be a local expert, able to share his/her depth of knowledge with you and offer a genuine insight into the locale.
If our website does not offer a tailormade tour that exactly meets your needs, please call one of our expert reservations team on 0141 955 4040 and they will embrace your requirements with enthusiasm and professionalism in order to create a bespoke tailor made tour.
